Whether you are interested in deepening your own practice or you feel the call to teach, the breathe 200-Hour Teacher Training (TT) program is committed to the personal success of each participant. Students will acquire the confidence to communicate the practice of yoga to others with the highest level of skill while honoring their own unique voice and style. The Teacher Training program at breathe will broaden your perspective of yoga — culminating in an experience that is transformational on every level: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.
breathe’s 5-star TT has trained hundreds of top-notch instructors and prepares you to take your teaching into the studio as well as onto the screen. The new hybrid format is the perfect blend of in-person learning, Zoom sessions, and on-demand lessons. Dedicated combined sessions ensure that relationships are formed and community is built among your TT peers.
Meet Your Instructors
Cyndi Weis
RD, E-RYT 500
Cyndi is the founder and owner of breathe yoga & juice bar. She is a 500-hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher, certified Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga teacher and a Masters of Wisdom & Meditation teacher with davidji. As a dietitian, Cyndi believes the food we put in our body is as important as the air we breathe or the thoughts we think. It is all yoga.
Carly Weis
MS, L.Ac., E-RYT 500
Carly is a 500-Hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher, a Baptiste certified teacher, and a certified meditation teacher. Carly has a true passion for breaking down the basics and enabling the flow to feel more fluid and accessible. As a licensed acupuncturist, Carly's background provides a strong foundation in anatomy and mechanics of yoga.

It is our expectation that you commit 100% to the training. Because life happens, we have built 10 hours into the program to allow for an unexpected absence. Our online sessions will be recorded and can be made up by listening to the recording.

Practice teaching is done in different ways and builds throughout the Teacher Training to hone the skill of teaching as well as gain confidence in leading a class.

Teaching yoga is about understanding what you are teaching and how to communicate it. It is not about having a ‘perfect’ practice.

More than a teacher training, breathe’s 200-hour course will play a significant role in your personal development and your growth as a yoga student.

The backbone of the training is the Baptiste Journey Into Power sequence. To ensure a well-rounded 200-hour training, students will learn the basics of intentional sequencing to create non-vinyasa classes as well. Mini immersions in yin, restorative yoga and meditation are part of this curriculum.

We encourage participants to attend all hours in order to obtain full comprehension of the content delivered during the training. In the event that you need to miss hours, all Wednesday and Friday night Zoom sessions can be made up within 2 weeks time of the date missed. In addition, there are 10 studio hours that you are allowed to miss without penalty. In special circumstances approved by Cyndi or Carly, a participant may miss up to one full weekend by completing a make-up assignment. Any hours missed past the equivalent of 1 full weekend (24 hours) the participant is no longer eligible for their graduation certificate required for Yoga Alliance certification.

Dates: October 25th, 2024 - January 12th, 2025
Times: Fridays 5-9pm online, Saturdays and Sundays in-person, 8am–6pm , and Wednesdays, 5:30-8:30pm, online only.
The Cost:
Cost: $3,395 ($500 deposit + $2,895 balance)

Any member of our Black and Brown community and/or anyone with a diverse background who is ready to be immersed in a yoga teacher training program and feels they will benefit from it either personally or professionally.

Full Scholarship value: $3395 ~ ($0 tuition)

Submit your video to: breathe yoga by Wednesday, September 4th. The scholarship recipients will be made and communicated by Monday, September 9th, 2024.

Please Note Regarding Applicants:
Applicants with active practices in pre-existing yoga communities will be given priority.
Applicants who note that the financial burden specifically of a Yoga Teacher Training in the past/currently has been prohibitive to their participation in training will be given priority.
